Metallica: here is the Death Magnetic release date

We were the first to tell you the new Metallica album release date had been pushed until September (see that story here), now we are the first to tell you the exact date.

OK, drum roll... Or double-bass pedal rumble, in honor of Lars...

Sources close to the situation tell Stereo Warning that the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic, will be released on Monday, Sept. 15, in Europe and Tuesday, Sept. 16 in the United States. We have no idea about Japan, Australia or New Zealand, sorry.

Now let's all hope it kicks ass!
